Fantasy Life.

Do you remember being a little kid when you believed in Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, and the Easter Bunny? We were told of these in stories and by our parents, and we believed it all. Our gullibility didnt just stop there.
The fairy tales, for girls and guys that prince charming will come and sweep you off of your feet or that you will find that the perfect girl for which the slipper fits, were also pushed on us as we were young. And many of us believed.
Even after people grow up, they still believe in the Mr/Ms Right. The truth is there isn't a Mr/Ms Right for everyone in the world. Many refuse to see the light, holding on to the last string of hope. Others, believing the fairytale, go for the first guy/girl that comes along and live a life of missory. Granted some people may find a person that is right for them, but how can you know that there isnt someone better?

I guess what I am trying to say is that one day you open your eyes and the fairly tales disappear. It is hard to let go of this fairy tale completely in hope that in the blink of an eye it will magically come true. At some point you are going to have to make a decision. Are you going to let the fairy tale go, find someone that may not be the best in the world but is available for you? Or are you going to hold onto the last hope and hold off everything and miss every oportunity that may come along?

Religion

< *Disclaimer* >
you dont have to read this and if you get mad, screw you
< / end Disclaimer >

Religion is generally thought of to be a good thing. For the most part I agree, but parts of religion do not bring any good into this world. Wars are fought in the name of god, sometimes the same god. People that are "religios" kill other people because they are either not religious or believe in a different god.

I read an article on cnn.com today that frustrated me greatly. "Senior Muslim clerics are demanding that an Afghan man on trial for converting from Islam to Christianity be executed". So because this man decided that the islam faith was not his way, muslims are going to kill this man. What good does that do, they dont try to convert him back, just kill him. 'Be our religion, or live in constant fear' is what this sounds like to me. What kind of crap is that? That alone shows that their is completely "whack." If your religion involves killing other people, raping women, and depriving people of living a healthy life, you should change. Yea I said it, Islam is a stupid made up religion that is a dead weight to society. It is the anchor and rope that many people are tied to as it falls into the deepest trench of the oceans. And if you believe in it and tie yourself to that rope, good riddens. The world would be a better place, religion or no religion, without the islam faith. SUCK IT!

I dont hate on all religions, I believe in chirtianity. I also dont have much against buddists and hindus, and a few of those small ones. They dont kill people, they try to contribute to society and make life better for others. Sounds good to me, I mean you can save all the cows you want, I will still eat them anyway...but dont say that all people that eat meat need to die and kill everyone. and they dont, that just shows that their religion is respectable and islam is not.

The main beef I have with christianity is mainly the variations of denominations. Wars have been fought over little details, and different interpretations of the bible. Also many super religious people are too weird. You gotta live your life...dont have religion stop you from living it up some time. If you cant have a bit of fun, why be alive?

in conclusion muslims are stupid, and if you are going to strap on a bomb and kill yourself to kill me...go ahead. just help your religion to send the message that you are all complete retards...you suck and your religion is wrong.

What is in a Day?

The Earth rotates once every twenty four hours. It does this 365 times per revolution. Our bodies experience this night and day repitition, job or school starts at 8am, dinner is at 7pm, bed time is 11pm. It is recommended to get 8 hours of sleep a night.

Is it this constant repitition of the earth's movements that governs our patterns? would our bodies require the same amount of sleep if not located on the Earth, or it the Earth rotated a bit slower? What would happen if a day was 30 hours long?

I think my body is ready for that change, but that change is not coming anytime soon (much like puberty). If I had it my way I would sleep 12 hours every night, wake up and work 10 hours (well maybe not really work, but have that schedule), and spend the next few hours hanging out and enjoying the few things in life that make me feel life is worth while.

24 hour days suck. You squeek off just enough sleep to make it through the day, rush through the day with a packed schedule, just to find time to eat and go back to bed. I am tired. I didnt sleep last night because of school work. this happens too often. I wish i could start a revolution. we gone, peace.

St. Patty's Day

I find it interesting how much this "holiday" is celebrated in the US. It is an IRISH holiday; Irish=IRELAND. And what is so special about this Patrick fellow?

Did you know that Saint Patrick's name at birth was Maewyn Succat? At the age of sixteen Maewyn Succat was kidnapped from his native land of Britain, by a band pirates, and sold into slavery in Ireland. Maewyn worked as a shepherd and turned to religion for solace. After six long years of slavery he escaped to the northern coast of Gaul.
He then changed his name to Patrick. he became a priest and went to ireland when he was sixty. Patrick was arrested several times, but escaped each time. He traveled throughout Ireland, establishing monasteries and setting up schools and churches to aid in converting the Irish country to Christianity.
It is legond that he drove snakes out of Ireland and they drown in the sea. He died on March 17th, so we celebrate his death.

But I guess it is sometime fun to pretend that I grew up on a potato farm, had only potatos and rocks to eat, wear green, and celebrate a priest's death by getting all wasted. Oh, you cant forget to eat some lucky charms, they are magically delicious.

the touchy subject of abortion

When does life start? Birth? Conception? when you start conciously making your own decisions?

I have no answer.

All I know is often times I feel as if I havent even started living, so shoot me now and call it an abortion.
