A New Theory

Doritos, more than just a tasty treat? I believe so. I am not citing sources at all, more or less just assuming a few things here. But I believe that Doritos cause people to be taller. Now this may not be true in every person, but I believe that in general, Doritos make you taller.

The average height of people today is much taller than it was many years ago. This could be attributed to man just standing more upright, but i blame Doritos. Consumption of Doritos now is most likely higher than it has ever been. The average height of people is also higher than it has ever been. Coincidence...I think not! I even have some reasons to back this up.

Take a look at Doritos main ingrediants: Corn, vegetable oil, salt, and cheese. Lets take a look at the first ingrediant, Corn. First of all, corn is good for you. If you have a corn fed deer, they tend to be more healthy and larger than a swamp deer that eats random junk. Also, I bet the corn they use is genetically altered to grow larger than your basic corn in order to improve their efficiency and reduce costs. They probably even add special "stuff" into the water or soil to increase growth in the corn. What does this corn then do when you eat it?

Next, look at the vegetable oil used. It is made up from corn, soy beans, and/or sun flower seed oil. I bet all of these are also altered and fed special stuff to grow larger. Then you eat it...

The salt...ok salt is salt.

The cheese. Cheese is made from cows milk. Milk is good for you (well if you arent lactose intolerant). The cows are probably fed special feed to grow more and produce more milk. I mean why not? It would be great for the milking and steak business.

This is why I believe that Doritos make people taller. More youth eat doritos now than ever before. Parents are weak now and give into childrens demands, and feed them what they want just to shut them up. Is there anything wrong with Doritos? I dont think so, I like them. I will probably feed my kids mainly doritos and force them to play basketball so I have the next child prodigy basketball player!

The Facts of Life

You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and there you have: the facts of life, the facts of life. Sometimes I wonder about the good part of that song, and then think the name needs to be changed to the shaftings of life.

[edit] I did write a long post, but after reading it I didn't like the tone of it, so I just cut it off here. Sorry to my fans, Blair, Tootie, and the rest of the gang, but I will try to make a post later that people will enjoy. [/edit]

Vick and Dog Fights

I was reading today about the whole Michael Vick dog fighting situation. So he admits that he funded the dog fighting, but says he never bet on the dog fights. Just reading that I was thinking, oh he doesn't deserve too bad of a punishment just for paying for the dogs and the facilities. Then I read on...

"Last April, Vick and two co-defendants tested the fighting skills of dogs and the three agreed to kill six to eight dogs that didn't measure up. All were killed by methods including hanging and drowning."

WTF!?! That is so bad. Hanging is pretty bad, but drowning dogs. Come on, how could someone do that? To put the dog in its dog carrier and dump it in the pool to drown it. The dogs dug up in Vicks lawn werent killed from dog fights, but Vick and his buddies killed them. For that I think he deserves a strict punishment.

If it were cats, then big deal, but dogs...

I still believe in cock fighting sponsored by fast food restaurants. The McD's chicken vs. KFC, ect...then the winner can claim their chickens are the best chickens and have something to back it up.

A Post to Post

Well, Hey everyone. I doubt that anybody even visits this site anymore, but I am going to make a post. I know it has been a little while since I last posted and a lot has been going on in my life. I am going to try to make this post fairly short, so if you want extra details about anything let me know.

My graft vs host (GVHD) kept me in PSL for about a month and a half. Since then I have been on a lot of medications. After being out of the hospital I got a small blood clot in my right lung. This means more medicine. Since then I have been doing pretty good health wise, other than I have almost zero immune system so I have to be very careful on what i eat, who i am around, and keeping things clean. That combined with GVHD and medicine makes it so my diet is restricted and I have to really be careful on what food I eat and drink (I cant have any alcohol :/ )

I moved back to Michigan, now living with Lauren, Brook, and Cassie at Beacon Lake in Mason. I've been super busy until now with moving, doctors, visiting friends, Gregg's wedding, going up north, shopping, and driving. My body is real weak from my drugs and treatments so it has taken a lot out of me.

Now I am pretty much free to hang out with anyone, so if you want to hang out let me know. I bought a Wii so if you want to stop by and play that, that is cool too. So STOP BY or Give me a Call!

Inspired to Post

Well I visited the Gokes blog, and what did I see, there was a post there!!! It made me think, maybe I should make a post too. So I go to sign in, and WTF M8. It wasnt letting me sign in. What is up with making me create a google account now to post a message? Google is going to pwn the world.

Anyway, I will give an update about happenings for those that dont know.
Timeline
October 12: Diagnosed with leukemia
October 12-December 1: Treatments in Hospital in Denver.
January 20-Late February?: back in hospital for bone marrow transplant.
April 12 - current: Back in hospital with graft vs host disease (side effect of the transplant)

ok that about sums it up. I am doing pretty good at this point and hoping they will let me out with in 2 weeks. It will most likely be June when I get to go back to Michigan.

So I have been playing my X-Box 360 a bit lately. I got onto xboxlive and downloaded a few game demos to check out. Crackdown Rocks. I liked it so much I gave my dad money to go buy it for me. And on top of that it comes with Halo 3 Beta for online play which starts tomorrow i believe. So that should be pretty sweet. Maybe that will help pick my spirits up since it sucks being in here. Soon I will test out a few other demos, maybe I will post how I liked them. One problem though is to buy a 360 game it is 60 friggin bucks. is it just me or is that friggin expensive. I mean its like come on. yea man, like come on. But as for the games I have right now, Madden 07 is pretty good, Gears of War is a lot of fun, and then NHL 2007 by EA Games is so/so at tops in my opinion. The controls are really limited, checking is poor, and fighting it horrible. The concept of the controls is nice in a way, but the number of things you can control are really limited and makes gameplay a lot worse. I almost broke my controller at least 2 times, and i slightly screwed up my monitor of this laptop when my contoller hit it, but it still works just fine. Another thing in the game is there is faceoffs really suck. there is no instruction on how to win them, and ihave tried everything, with me winning 6 out of 35 tops on the easiest setting. I would really recommend ESPN NHL 2k7 over EAs version. gameplay is better as well as the things you can contol.

Is it wrong of me to assume if my nurse is a male he is gay? It creaps me out getting male nurses, I think i actually prefer the fat ugly old lady over the gay guy. I have had 2 male nurses that didnt seem gay, but i really didnt try to find out. I was just playing a bit of Madden 07 so I try to ignore them.
